Legal representation during divorce

Divorce is not only a legal procedure—it is also a difficult life situation. As an attorney, my primary goal is to help my clients resolve divorce-related issues, whenever possible, out of court, within a short time, and in a way that is reassuring for all parties. I assist with drafting divorce-related agreements and provide legal representation in divorce by mutual agreement.

Drafting property settlement agreements

Resolving financial and property matters is a key element of divorce. My aim is for the parties’ agreement to be clear, legally sound, and workable in the long term. As an attorney, I support the preparation of agreements on the division of marital property—primarily striving for out-of-court, fast, and predictable solutions.

Divorce by mutual agreement – divorce mediation

In mediation, the goal is not to “win a case”, but to make life a little easier for the people involved. A mediator helps you make decisions about the essential issues that affect your life—rather than having the court decide for you. Prevent your relationship with the other party from deteriorating further: use mediation support to reach an agreement.

Legal consultation

I provide personalised and easy-to-understand legal advice on divorce-related questions—whether family law, real estate matters, or other connected issues. My goal is for clients to clearly understand their rights, options, and likely consequences before making decisions, so they can decide calmly and with confidence.

  • Client-focused approach
  • Impartiality
  • Full confidentiality
  • Fast case handling
  • Calm, modern environment

Mediation – work with a mediator

To schedule a preliminary consultation, book an appointment by phone or email.

Preliminary consultation

The mediation process always starts with a preliminary consultation. This is the first meeting between the mediator and the client. Here you can talk one-on-one about matters you would not mention in front of your spouse/partner.

Divorce by mutual agreement

In mediation there is no judgment. You do not have to prove you are right. With a mediator, you can reach an agreement faster than in a courtroom—even if divorce litigation has already started. Divorce by mutual agreement—instead of a court lawsuit.

How divorce works

Litigation, doing it on your own, or mediation? The decision is in your hands. Divorce with a mediator starts with a shared intention to agree. That is followed by a personal one-on-one meeting, then the mediation sessions and the signing of the settlement.

Reasons to choose mediation

Divorce litigation can ruin lives. We support you through difficult moments.
“I noticed that litigation had become a way of life. My lawyer’s number is among the ten I call most often. I got used to going to court every 3–4 months. We don’t go on holiday, and the child no longer attends English lessons. The money is needed for lawyers, experts, fees, appeals. Every day I think about what will happen at the next hearing… I’m exhausted.”

Court proceedings can be a serious emotional burden for clients.
“People there (in court) even forget what their own best interest is… They end up in an unfamiliar environment, everyone sits there in robes. Sit here… not there… Go over there… stand up… say this and that… In the end, I couldn’t even say what my name was.”

Property division lawsuits can drag on for an extremely long time.
“People usually get fed up with property division lawsuits after about a year and a half. They’ve had enough. These cases require serious documentary evidence, and it’s very difficult to prove the origin of separate property. They choose settlement when they realise how long these lawsuits take and how much it will cost them.”
